Description
Since ancient times, the art of creating mosaics, whether it involved floors, walls, or individual small pieces, has always been alluring and has transcended through history. During this four hour class, Diane Flanegan will teach you the basic techniques used when making a mosaic piece of art. Bring your ideas for a design or Diane will provide some printed patterns you can choose from.
Glass, tiles, and a substrate will be provided along with tools and glue. Safety glasses and Band-Aids will also be provided!!! Diane will also demonstrate the process for grouting and then distribute the grout with instructions for you to take home so that you can finish your alluring mosaic piece of art. This workshop will prove to be a fun and interactive for all that attend!
