ART ENTRY SYSTEM

Registration for the 2023 Bowl and Vessel Show is now CLOSED and we are no longer accepting entries.

IMPORTANT DATES

• Entry Deadline: October 2, 2023
• Exhibition Dates: October 25-29, 2023
• Entry Fee: Flat fee per artist, limit of 4 vessels per artist
  $15 (members) / $20 (nonmember)
• Entry Fee is waved for members who have created a bowl or vessel in an SBPC provided workshop.
• Art Intake: October 8 (11AM-3PM), October 9 (2-6PM)
  Mann Center of NC Room 211, 507 N. Steele Street, Sanford
• Public Reception / Artist Awards: October 25 (6-8PM)
• Art Pickup: November 3 (11AM-2PM), November 4 (10AM-noon)

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

• All artworks must be original fine art quality conceived and created solely by the entering artist(s).
• All artworks must be appropriate for a family audience.
• Maximum dimensions: 3 feet height, 2 feet width, free-standing or able to display on a shelf or pedestal.
• All mediums are accepted. Vessels are not required to be food-safe but those that are may be labeled as such.
• All art must be for sale.
• SBPC will handle all sales from the exhibition and retain a 20% commission from all sales.
• Award-winning artwork remains on-display through October 29 regardless of sale status. All additional work may be immediately sold and taken by the collector.
• Artist must provide the Gallery Price for their artwork, in whole dollar amounts. There are no price adjustments permitted after art intake.
• Entries will be handled and stored with care; however, the SBPC is not responsible for loss or damage from any cause. The submission of art to the exhibition shall imply an agreement on the part of the artist to the conditions set forth in the prospectus. The Artist consents to the use of his/her name and artwork image(s) for purposes of promotion and advertisement by the SBPC.
