2021 Annual Art Show
The Sanford Brush & Palette Club’s 56th Annual Art Show was held October 16th to 23rd at the Bob E. Hales Center, 147 McIver Street in Sanford. This year’s show featured 425 pieces of art work by 59 artists in 15 different categories in the Competition Gallery (plus 383 art pieces in the Sales Gallery).
Three judges were on the scene this year to review and select the winning pieces. We were thrilled to welcome artists Joe & Sharon DiGiulio and Karen Lee Crenshaw to our Judging Day (yes, it takes a full day). Joe is a professional abstract painter whose artwork reflects his use of color, line, shape and texture. Sharon works in several different media including collage, encaustic painting, printmaking and oil/resin. Karen specializes in portraits of women and children as well as coastal landscapes. Together, they are an awesome trio. Take a moment and visit their respective websites!
It has been a difficult year and we couldn’t be more grateful to our amazing members, donors and sponsors for their generous support in helping us bring this show to life! ♥
Congratulations to the 56th Annual Art Show Award Winners
