ANNOUNCING ARTSTOBER2023 – AUGUST 2023
Sanford, August 1, 2023 – The Sanford Brush and Palette Club (SBPC) is pleased to announce the dates for ARTSTOBER2023, a celebration of three exciting family-friendly visual arts events in Sanford, NC this October.
ARTSTOBER2023 is an opportunity for Sanford and Lee County to showcase the talented visual artists of our region in three family-friendly shows. Starting with the Student Art Show, October 5-7, we will feature work by Lee County juniors and seniors in a judged art competition. The 58th Annual Art Show follows from October 14-21, and celebrates the diverse artwork of SBPC Member Artists in the annual event our entire community looks forward to. The final exhibition will be the Bowl and Vessel Show, October 25-29, featuring pottery and sculpture in the form of bowls and vessels, and is open to all NC artists.
All events take place at the Mann Center of NC, 507 N. Steele Street in Sanford NC. Artists and Community Members may learn more about ARTSTOBER2023 at sanfordarts.org/artstober/.

About SBPC
The Sanford Brush and Palette Club (SBPC) was founded in 1964 with seven members, and has grown to a membership of more than one-hundred diverse, talented artists. The SBPC celebrates its 59th anniversary in 2023, and the values of the founding members, who believed that fellowship and education were important to artistic growth, continue to be a theme in the current organization.
